We opted to have a bagpiper for our service and it was quite spectacular along with the spreading of the ashes with the roses. You would highly recommend this operation

Our family was looking at ways to scatter our parents’ cremated remains at sea, when I found Los Angeles Yacht Charter. While not inexpensive, their prices were reasonable and I was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They have a lot of experience with Burials at Sea and were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. The basket with rose petals used to scatter the ashes was a nice touch. The Captain and his Mate were extremely helpful in accommodating our requests to make the service more personal. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations and everything was perfect. I arranged for an Ashes at Sea service for my brother. I rented a 65' catamaran and we had about 25 people in attendance for this event. From the get-go, no matter who I talked to, emailed or texted at LA Yacht Charter, they were very responsive, accommodating; they answered all my questions... even my repeated questions. I was arranging this from Texas and Yes the boat looks like the picture. It was PERFECT and very well maintained and clean (not fishy). The crew were very kind, caring, helpful... just fantastic. I was a bit overwhelmed just due to the circumstances, but I was able to hook up via Bluetooth to play music through their speakers, which was wonderful. Everyone was super impressed. It was a beautiful day, a heartfelt, beautiful good-bye. I highly HIGHLY recommend Los Angeles Yacht Charter. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I worked with the team at Los Angeles Yacht Charter to organize an ash scattering for our family. After doing some research and reading some reviews, I decided to go with Los Angeles Yacht Charter. From the moment I reached out, they were responsive, professional, extremely courteous, and respectful. They were consistently that way from beginning to end. I thought for sure they would blow me off at some point because I asked so many questions throughout the process but, no, they were kind and responsive through all of it. The actual service went very well. Everything went as described/planned. The crew (Mike and captain Dan) was prompt, friendly, courteous, professional, respectful, and extremely helpful. My dad's ashes were carefully placed in a basket and covered with flower petals to reduce the risk of the ashes getting blown away. Mike gave us detailed instructions on how to best scatter the ashes. We followed his instructions and the whole process went smoothly. I could not have asked for a better outcome as we laid my dad to rest in his final resting place.

We booked the Outsiders vessel for a family of six event ; had a wonderful and very memorable moment onboard the vessel.The vessel was super clean , well decorated , with all we needed onboard to feel at home ( fully equipped kitchen with typical utensils, Gas BBQ on the lower deck , leaving area with smart TV , Audio with Bluetooth…etc. ). The captain ( John C. ) was very experienced and knew where to take us for what we hope to experience at high sea. We asked to see Dolphins and he took us right in an area where we were very lucky to spend great time and memories watching one of the best Dolphins Stampede alongside the vessel for long time…I would recommend the service without hesitation.Thanks to the Outsiders administration team and crew for a seamless experience from start ( booking ) till the end.Aaron

I used Los Angeles Youct Charter to help spread my mothers ashes in the ocean per her wishes. The process to book was fairly quick. They provided multiple options for group sizes and allowed me to upgrade when we needed more space. Once the boat was arriving, the caption called me to make sure I didn't have any questions. On the vessel, the deck hand was very respecful and helped guide us on when to have people speak and when it was time to prepare the ashes and then lower them. She offered to help at any stage or we could take charge. Very flexable. The boat was large enough and steady enough to walk around. Easy to find a quiet space to morn or be close to loved ones during this difficult time. I am very greatful for their communication, kindness and attention to the situation. I will note, they did bring their children with them. The children were very respectful, stayed out of the main area of the mornors and were not a distrubance in any way.

On 6/29 we were greeted by Michael and Dan and they were great hosts. They made the journey to my sister-n-laws final resting spot off Malibu a breeze. Such a beautiful day it was and over 100 dolphins guided the boat back into land. Before my mom passed she told her grandkids to look for dolphins and to know she is always with them!
