My family and I chartered a boat through LA Yacht Charter for scattering of our mother’s ashes. Our host, Carlos did a lovely job. He layed out the ashes in a beautiful display prior to the scattering and Captain Nick got us where we needed to be on time. Everything was handled professionally and all was well organized. It was beautiful and meaningful to my whole family and the dove release was also beautiful!

My family and I used Los Angeles Yacht Charter for my brothers ash release at sea on his first heavenly birthday. From the start Brit and her husband were incredibly helpful and made arrangements easy. If I could give them more stars I definitely would. The day of services captain Troy along with his crew member were beyond amazing and made such a difficult time peaceful and beautiful. The boat Lady M is beautiful, clean and perfect for any occasion. My family was so grateful we decided to go in this direction it was everything we could have hoped for. We will definitely be back to use services for my brother's future heavenly birthdays. Thank you all again.

Our experience with LA Yacht Charter was wonderful. It was easy to book, and all our questions were answered quickly. They were waiting for us at the appointed time, and our party of 12 even left the dock early. Chaplain Carlos and Captain Nick and the rest of the crew were very kind and respectful, carefully explaining everything that was going to happen. They include some flowers that are spread with the ashes, but we also brought quite a few of our own to toss into the water, which really felt meaningful. We were very pleased with the whole experience. Thank you all!

Chartered a yacht for my wedding and it was awesome. Ceremony was at sunset, followed by a murder mystery at sea! And as luck would have it, there was a huge pod of dolphins swimming along with our boat that left everybody in awe. With 49 passengers (max capacity for our boat), it was a little crowded, but not too bad, and the boat was clean and attractive. The sound system worked great with a phone connected to Spotify.The captain was super nice and helpful and everyone I spoke to through this company was extremely accommodating and usually quick to respond. They even worked with the liquor caterers to make sure we had the exact drinks we wanted onboard.Would highly recommend!

My father’s disposition of ashes at sea was beautiful. I had many family members state to me of all the funerals they have been to this one was so sweet and beautiful. The charter boat was very nice. Captain was awesome. The pastor was very sweet. To top thing and make the moment even better we had contacted a bag popper who was amazing. I highly recommend doing some like this for your loved ones.

Recently I engaged the services of Los Angeles Yacht Charters to take me and my family to the Channel Islands so that I could fulfill my promise to my deceased husband to distribute his ashes in the Pacific ocean at the Channel Islands.The Los Angeles Yacht Charters could not have been a better choice. They were professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, they were kind.The experience could not have been better. Our skipper, Doug, was wonderful. The weather cooperated wonderfully. The sea was quite calm, it was sunny and the trip to the Channel Islands was pleasant.All of my family participated in our informal service by way of sharing memories. Captain George and crew were amazing and so patient and kind. The way the yacht circles around and all of us throwing the flowers circling the rose petals and ashes is a memory I will never forget. The crew was welcoming, supportive and explained what to expect and when. They provided a cooler filled with water and ginger ale, as well as a table for our us to place our coffee and cake. The boat was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of comfortable covered seating inside and outside. We had enough time to say our goodbyes and share our memories. The remains were placed in a container with rose petals that I lowered into the water. The captain tossed our wreath into the water and we scattered our rose petals. We never felt rushed, there was time to share our grief. The crew were kind and respectful the entire time. It was a truly beautiful way for our family and friends to honor our loved one.

Losing someone is disorienting (among other things) and in some ways, I found myself stumbling in the dark. LA Yacht Charter helped shine some light in those corners. They were all so kind and thorough--from calling back to helping me step-by-step. It was a beautiful service for my father and I'm grateful to LA Yacht Charter for helping such a difficult process do-able.

They made it very easy for me and I would gladly recommend them to anyone in need of the same type of service but if you need them for anything else such as a bachelorette party, social party, romantic dinner at sea etc they would be great because they were very kind people and they want you to have a good experience.

Working with the people at the Los Angeles Yacht Charter, made setting up the scattering of the ashes very easy, including securing the permit. The boat we went on out of San Pedro was great. They explained everything and were engaging. Communication was very good and responsive. Would recommend them

My 16 year old son had to say goodbye to his father but Los Angeles Yacht Charter made the process so simple and were so compassionate which made him feel at ease. He felt comfort sending his father off in such a beautiful way. Captain Troy and his crew member were so amazing and asked for his input and suggestions if he had any. Since it was all new to us, they explained in detail what they can provide and what can be done during the services and made it so simple yet so peaceful and beautiful. Grateful for them and for the lovely and unforgettable experience. My son is extremely happy with their services and feels at peace when he said his goodbye. Thank you.

No matter your age, or how long they are ill, losing a beloved parent is not easy. If your parent wants cremation, it’s another issue to deal with. Los Angeles Burial at Sea were so unbelievably helpful. From the 1001 texts messages I did back and forth, I believe with Benjamin who was so very, very kind to Capt. Eddie and Carlos on the day of, who were just wonderful! They really made a difficult moment so peaceful. I will be forever grateful and I highly, highly recommend them.

While my mother passed nearly six months ago, we had to wait to honor her wish for a burial at sea. Deepest appreciation to Los Angeles Charter for all of their help in taking mom to her final resting location. I was able to coordinate all details in advance online & via text communications...so easy! I received reminder notices via text and email, which were helpful. Super easy to park and get to Dock 55 in Marina Del Rey! Captain Joe & his first mate were wonderful and thought of the things that we hadn’t, and provided us with the non-traditional “service” we wanted and needed. The yacht was lovely, lots of seating inside & out. Best of all, though beyond all of our control, were the unbeatable conditions and gorgeous day.Big thanks to everyone at Los Angeles Charter Yachts. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again for any occasion that necessitates or benefits from a yacht rental!!

I can't say enough about the people at Los Angeles Yacht Charter who provided the burial at sea for our family's matriarch. Everyone was kind, considerate, and friendly. Most importantly, they went above and beyond to show they understood how we were feeling and spent time genuinely getting to know our family. Britt, Captain Joe and Carlos...aces all the way. I highly, highly recommend this company if you've lost a loved one and want a burial at sea. I never experienced this type of burial before. Looking out over the roses and petals scattered in a circle was BEAUTIFUL!!! And as a perfect way to say goodbye...a school of dolphins jumping through the air as we circled the burial site. She loved dolphins and now gets to swim amongst them eternally. Thanks again crew.
