We had a burial at sea for my daughter and the boat was clean and spacious for my guests and I. The captain was nice, caring, and patient. The other gentleman aboard was as well and had a bit of humor which mad the occasion more light and easy. I was very pleased with the service and recommended their services whatever the occasion.

We held a burial at sea last Friday for our father as one of his wishes was to be cremated and put in the ocean. Captain Troy and Dan were professional and very accommodating. We were able to connect our playlist to the sound system on the boat and quickly set up a charcuterie board and some beverages since our service was around lunchtime. We were given a dozen white roses to scatter with the ashes (we had also brought some with us). We appreciated Dan and Troy’s outstanding service and the hour went by so fast! Everyone in our party of 12 enjoyed the experience and felt it was the perfect tribute for a man who loved the water so much. We highly recommend the burial at sea experience with LA Yacht Charter.

Family and friends traveled from Ohio as we celebrated the life of our dear mother and loved one. One of my mother's final wishes was to be one with the ocean. The ceremony was beautiful- one for the ages and we will never forget the majesty of it all.The crew of the LA Yacht Charter was a large part of what made our family experience like no other. They placed the ashes in a basket beneath a pretty floral arrangement, and before long, gently lowered the basket into the sea completing my mother's desire. The Burial experience was simply remarkable; all made possible with the LA Yacht Charter crew.We thank you, over and over again!

We chartered through LA Yacht Charter for a boat to spread my dad's ashes. The entire process was smooth and worked well. The crew was sensitive to the purpose at hand. They even provided some flowers to spread and a basket to lower the ashes in. The captain circled the ashes three times as is the tradition for naval services. Would definitely use again.One note, they do schedule the yacht very tightly, so don't be surprised when you get to the dock and there's no boat there. It actually pulled up a minute of so after our scheduled time which did cause some stress (everything was done via text/online, so I started to worry), but it was all fine.

Our Family had such a spectacular time on the “LADY M” yacht . We took our Dad on it yesterday. He is a long time boat owner and now he’s 94 and this just was a blast for him with lots of memories on the water. We all enjoyed watching him smile. What a memorable Father’s Day! Our burial at sea event was absolutely, amazing. The captain and assistant were friendly, personable, easy-going, and accommodating. To top it all off, the captain noticed a pod of dolphins and headed in their direction. When we caught up to them they swam under, in front, in back and along our vessel for quite some time. I highly recommend their business to anyone looking for this type of service.

The prices are reasonable and actually a STEAL of a deal when you factor in the customer service, professionalism of the staff and memories you can make with this experience. Booking was easy, our captain and assistant captain were very hospitable and down-to-Earth. The vessel was clean and cozy, and the ride was so much fun. I'd give 10 stars if I could. 10/10 Highly Recommend.

My friend found this company for me after my dad passed, because we wanted to do a burial at sea. Im honestly so so grateful that she did and that we chose to say goodbye to my dad this way. We had a funeral a few days before and we’ve never cremated and spread ashes before, so we came into this not knowing what to expect. Wes (the Captain) and Dan (crew) were so exceptionally kind. Dan gave me a quick walk through of how it usually goes, always made suggestions and allowed us to do whatever felt right. He added flowers to our dad’s ashes so we could see as he floated away. He gave us access to music. It almost felt like he was the party planner, and Im grateful because we would have been lost without him. Tbh, his kindness, care, and concern was without a doubt what allowed me to really focus on saying goodbye to my Dad and it really made the experience extra special! The boat was great in all aspects. If youre thinking about burying a loved one at sea, I 💯 recommend this company! Theyre kind and helpful from the moment you reach out! Although, Id dont ever want to have to do this again. If theres ever the need, I will think of this company.

I booked a yacht for my 40th birthday celebration and it was great. Booking was easy. Carlos was a great concierge on the day of the event. The boat has speakers for our DJ, we had kids and adults and everyone had a great time. We also chose a catering option and the food was great. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun experience.

I held a memorial service on one of their yachts, and it was absolutely beautiful! The crew was so very helpful and so professional and yet gave me and my family. The space we needed when we needed it. It was so nice to have the option of a harp player, a bagpipe player, and doves to be released. We did the doves and it was so beautiful. It was more meaningful than I could ever imagine. I highly recommend their first class service to anyone interested

My family and I chartered a boat through LA Yacht Charter for scattering of our mother’s ashes. Our host, Carlos did a lovely job. He layed out the ashes in a beautiful display prior to the scattering and Captain Nick got us where we needed to be on time. Everything was handled professionally and all was well organized. It was beautiful and meaningful to my whole family and the dove release was also beautiful!

From the start Brit and her husband were incredibly helpful and made arrangements easy. If I could give them more stars I definitely would. The day of services captain Troy along with his crew member were beyond amazing and made such a difficult time peaceful and beautiful. Our experience with LA Yacht Charter was wonderful. It was easy to book, and all our questions were answered quickly. They were waiting for us at the appointed time, and our party of 12 even left the dock early. Chaplain Carlos and Captain Nick and the rest of the crew were very kind and respectful, carefully explaining everything that was going to happen. They include some flowers that are spread with the ashes, but we also brought quite a few of our own to toss into the water, which really felt meaningful. Chartered a yacht for my wedding and it was awesome. Ceremony was at sunset, followed by a murder mystery at sea! And as luck would have it, there was a huge pod of dolphins swimming along with our boat that left everybody in awe. With 49 passengers (max capacity for our boat), it was a little crowded, but not too bad, and the boat was clean and attractive. The sound system worked great with a phone connected to Spotify.The captain was super nice and helpful and everyone I spoke to through this company was extremely accommodating and usually quick to respond. They even worked with the liquor caterers to make sure we had the exact drinks we wanted onboard.Would highly recommend!

My father’s disposition of ashes at sea was beautiful. I had many family members state to me of all the funerals they have been to this one was so sweet and beautiful. The charter boat was very nice. Captain was awesome. The pastor was very sweet. To top thing and make the moment even better we had contacted a bag popper who was amazing. I highly recommend doing some like this for your loved ones.

Recently I engaged the services of Los Angeles Yacht Charters to take me and my family to the Channel Islands so that I could fulfill my promise to my deceased husband to distribute his ashes in the Pacific ocean at the Channel Islands.The Los Angeles Yacht Charters could not have been a better choice. They were professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, they were kind.The experience could not have been better. Our skipper, Doug, was wonderful. The weather cooperated wonderfully. The sea was quite calm, it was sunny and the trip to the Channel Islands was pleasant.All of my family participated in our informal service by way of sharing memories. No matter your age, or how long they are ill, losing a beloved parent is not easy. If your parent wants cremation, it’s another issue to deal with. Los Angeles Burial at Sea were so unbelievably helpful. From the 1001 texts messages I did back and forth, I believe with Benjamin who was so very, very kind to Capt. Eddie and Carlos on the day of, who were just wonderful! They really made a difficult moment so peaceful. I will be forever grateful and I highly, highly recommend them.

While my mother passed nearly six months ago, we had to wait to honor her wish for a burial at sea. Deepest appreciation to Los Angeles Charter for all of their help in taking mom to her final resting location. I was able to coordinate all details in advance online & via text communications...so easy! I received reminder notices via text and email, which were helpful. Super easy to park and get to Dock 55 in Marina Del Rey! Captain Joe & his first mate were wonderful and thought of the things that we hadn’t, and provided us with the non-traditional “service” we wanted and needed. The yacht was lovely, lots of seating inside & out. Best of all, though beyond all of our control, were the unbeatable conditions and gorgeous day.Big thanks to everyone at Los Angeles Charter Yachts. I can't say enough about the people at Los Angeles Yacht Charter who provided the burial at sea for our family's matriarch. Everyone was kind, considerate, and friendly. Most importantly, they went above and beyond to show they understood how we were feeling and spent time genuinely getting to know our family. Britt, Captain Joe and Carlos...aces all the way. I highly, highly recommend this company if you've lost a loved one and want a burial at sea. I never experienced this type of burial before. Looking out over the roses and petals scattered in a circle was BEAUTIFUL!!! And as a perfect way to say goodbye...a school of dolphins jumping through the air as we circled the burial site. She loved dolphins and now gets to swim amongst them eternally. Thanks again crew.
