My family & I did a burial at sea ceremony and I cannot recommend it enough! Unfortunately I forgot the name of the crew and captain but they were just AMAZING!!!! It was a smooth ride watching the dolphins swim around the yacht and when ashes were spread the yacht started circling around the ashes and it was such a beautiful sight. This is definitely worth it all!

Had the best time on the large party boat out of Long Beach with food and drinks. I thought the food and drinks were great for the price. Host Carlos was lovely too. Celebrated my 33rd birthday with family and friends. The customer service team was helpful and responsive. Will use their service again.

Had an amazing time! We were on the Lady M, captains were awesome. The yacht was spacious and furniture was comfortable. Everyone had a great time out on the water. The booking process was very easy and instructions on how to get there, where to park, and what to bring were helpful! Customer service is 10/10. Would book here again!

Captain Troy and his crew was very thoughtful in helping us make our day extra special, from the roses they gave us for the ceremony, helping us arrange the ashes for release in the beautiful basket they provided, and doing everything to make a difficult process as easy as possible. Even with the weather challenges we experienced that day, they made adjustments that allowed us to still have a beautiful ceremony for our loved one. Wonderful. The weather was incredible to send off my mom for her final farewell into the sea off MDR.The crew…Troy and Dan were outstanding and so accommodating. The only thing I would say is that it was tough to get a person “live” on the phone to ask questions. We mostly corresponded through email and text, however they were mostly very responsive. How many times do we lose a mom? How much experience did I have in doing what she asked me to do? Scatter her ashes into the sea. Grieving her loss and running around not knowing what to do, I finally put my trust in Los Angeles Yacht Charter to take us to where we needed to go and do what we needed to do. So glad that I did. From the minute I emailed them, they've been very responsive, supportive and patient with me until the end. Mom's ceremony went beautifully. A very respectful goodbye to our beloved mom. The captain and crew were very kind, supportive and courteous, understanding fully that they're taking care of grieving people. I'm eternally thankful to this company and would recommend it to anybody who's looking for a professional team to handle their events. P.S. releasing doves was a big hit with the guests, and they looked great in the video we made later.

This may sound odd, but we rarely saw the captain or his first mate on the trip out to scatter my mother-in-laws ashes. They gave us the space to reminisce and talk amongst ourselves. It didn’t take long to get to the spot where her ashes were scattered, and they did it quietly and then left. The trip back was longer and they took us around to enjoy the beauty of the ocean that she loved so much. It was the perfect closure for an amazing life. Thank you!!

I had the best time this weekend celebrating my 30th bday on the Luxurious Passenger Boat! The planning process was very easy, all my questions were answered. Both Captain Kim and Captain Jack were so cool and friendly. Adrienne also helped me so much with serving the food, snacks and drinks that my friends and I took on board, and she was constantly checking in with us asking if there was anything we needed. I’m definitely recommending this company to others and I will definitely be back. My friends and fam also had a great time. Loved it! :)

Had a great experience. Booked the sunset slot (5-8pm) . The crew was great. The waters were a bit choppy but still had a great ride. Brought our own food and drinks and listened to our own music through Bluetooth for a joyous evening. Will definitely be doing this again.

We had a great experience on The Lady M. The yacht was really spacious for my party of 11 with a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, bathroom and a bedroom. Captain Troy was really nice we had two guess running behind we had to leave the dock since other boats where coming in and captain Troy explain he would try to come back and pick them up and he did. We most definitely booked again with Los Angeles Yacht.

We used LA Yacht Co. for a memorial service, scattering at sea. The crew was so friendly and helpful. We had a big, heavy urn to scatter my brother and they offered us a basket. Very respectfully. Then they helped us fill the basket with ashes and rose petals. It was the right choice and made for a more beautiful, touching ceremony.

Our group of 11 reserved a yacht for a bachelorette and had the most incredible time!! Captain Kevin and Dan went above and beyond to make sure our experience was amazing. We realized we had run out of drinks and Dan graciously offered to jump off and quickly run to Trader Joe's to grab more for us. We were blown away by their friendliness and service. Dan and Kevin definitely added to our positive experience - give them a raise! They really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Overall, would 100% recommend this yacht service, and especially the Kevin and Dan duo! One of our group's favourite memories in LA!

They helped us very well with the event planning and also the 3.5 hr cruise around LA/along Beach harbor was perfect. Food was great and Bar was good. We had an amazing and a very memorable event. I surprised my mom with this outing for her 70th birthday. She and all the guests had a wonderful time! Our captain and crew member went above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for. They helped a passenger who got sea sick, pointed out sights and animals along the way, changed plans when the water got choppy, and were extremely professional and engaging throughout the entire night. They even helped us clean up and took a group picture at the end of the night. I am very grateful they helped us have such a wonderful and memorable evening.

When planning my best friend’s bachelor party, I asked myself — what’s the quintessential LA afternoon? A day on the beach, sure, that works… but a day on a yacht, zipping along the beach, seeing dolphins leap out of the water a few feet away from us, and cruising up and down the marina next to zillion dollar yachts? Perfect. We had some beverages, we blasted some music, we danced, and we had a great time. And the crew was just fantastic. I mean really, Dottie is such a pro. She took great care of us, kept us going, and she was super accommodating, making sure we had great views while also keeping the choppiness on the water to a minimum. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough. Thanks for everything!

I've never done ashes at Sea before and the captain was amazing at explaining everything and giving us options and ways to do it. The white rose petals on the ashes in the basket over the ocean is a picture I will never ever forget. We chartered this boat for an intimate burial at sea for our son, off the coast of Marina Del Rey. Captain Troy and Holly did a wonderful job of making what is, by its very nature an incredibly painful experience, feel less horrible. They treated us and our sons’ remains with respect. They helped us create a very gracious, poignant and memorable experience that we will never forget.I would book them for any occasion and certainly hope to charter with this group again in the future, albeit for a more celebratory occasion.

We had an amazing experience. The crew was friendly and accommodating. Sunset was gorgeous, amenities were perfect, including Bluetooth speaker, and we even saw dolphins. Bring your own food and drinks, but there’s a kitchenette area with fridge and microwave. We booked Lady M and it was spacious. A perfect experience for my husband’s birthday. All our guests had a blast!
